A Quick Update on Where I’ve Been

Hey readers,

You may have been wondering where I’ve been and why I haven’t posted to my blog in the last few weeks. So if you don’t mind, let me fill you in.

But first, I want to introduce you to my new puppy. His name is Cooper and he’s a borador; a half lab half collie. He’s very, very smart as I’ve been taking him to puppy training :). Here are some pics.

Okay, now here’s why I haven’t been active on my blog recently. This summer I’d been taking a couple courses to finish up my degree and I wrapped it up a couple weeks ago. I’m now an official U of T graduate :D. There I studied professional writing and philosophy.

For the last four months, I’ve also been interning as a blogger/ copywriter for a virtual business consulting company. I’ve learned a lot working there and I’ve grown as a writer. And in the past week I’ve been asked to ghostwrite a business book for my boss and her colleagues. If I get the job, which is still in the air, it will be my first project on spec, so I’m really excited about that.

Aside from all that go-go-go stuff, I’ve been doing a ton of reading. I’ve just cracked open Strong Imagination by Daniel Nettle, a non-ficton book that explores the link between madness and creativity. (What are you reading right now? Feel free to share in the comments!)

So that’s what’s been keeping me busy and keeping me from posting to the blog as much as I’d like. But I’m back on track now, ready to poke and prod and explore new areas of the creative ethos, the creative spirit.

Wishing you a successful creative journey,
Aaron.
